Gumroad-like Shop in beehiiv
MINUS the fee from GUMROAD. You are welcome!

Do you sell or plan to sell digital reports, guides, or e-books? Usually, the tech world goes to Gumroad for their digital product sales. HOWEVER, who wants to pay 10% + $0.50 per transaction for all sales through your profile or direct links to your customers?
That is insanely high cost to share. If you are thinking about it, then I have a solution for you.
I recently built this solution for our customer, Shane, who owns & operates the Upstream Ag newsletter. We recently helped him migrate from Substack and Gumroad to an all-in-beehiiv setup, saving him hundreds on fees and making the process far more streamlined and efficient. (And connected to beehiiv, so he can have all data in one place)
For the Upstream Ag Insights business, moving digital products and the newsletter to a single website enhances subscriber experience, streamlines access to premium content, and improves my ability to drive traffic—while reducing costs compared to Gumroad and Substack.
🧠 Challange Context

In this case, the client wanted to sell digital guides and PDFs—specifically a series of exclusive reports on the Agriculture industry—without being bogged down by Gumroad’s 10% + $0.50 fees per transaction. Instead, we set up a custom digital product store using beehiiv and Stripe.
The pricing breakdown:
Gumroad Pricing: 10% + $0.50 per transaction
Stripe Pricing: 2.9% + C$0.30 per successful charge for domestic cards.
By integrating Stripe with Make.com, we were able to save on fees, have complete control over the store, and automate everything seamlessly through beehiiv.
